The Name Game

We know creativity flows abundantly amongst our families.  So unless you really really love the name "East Valley Home Link North," we need your suggestions to name our new program.  You may submit your ideas either by leaving a comment on this post or emailing us at ourkidsourchoice@gmail.com.

Get creative and get the kids involved.  Have fun!

    Since both East Valley and homeschoolers have an educational philosophy of being flexible to the needs of our students; and because I love the quote "Education is a Family Project", my name suggestion is

    East Valley FLEX Program - FLEX for short.

    FLEX stands for Family Learning EXperience

    How about East Valley Elements (EVE) or East Valley Elements of Education(EVEE)? With this being a parent partnership program, it is one element of the education we are providing our children.

    EnVision Academy (or school). Play off the EV to incorporate East Valley into the logo.

    I think EnVision represents our open-minded educational philosophies and instills a hope of what this program and our children can become.

    NORTH STAR
    POLARIS
    KINDRED

    I like the idea of playing off the "star" idea, since our school will be the star of it's rivals (wink*)! Our kids reach for the stars...etc. Plus we'll be in North Spokane....And I like the idea of saying "We're in the North Star or Polaris Program" (Ex. East valley North Star Program)

    EAST VALLEY POLARIS PARTNERSHIP

    OR

    Kindred: a group of related persons or tribe, having similar qualities......I think "Kindred" represents us as a group of people with similar ideas, it brings forth the idea of community for me, as well as a bond between it's parents and it's kids, which so many schools lack.

    You could obviously add East Valley, parent partnership, or homelink to any of those....etc...For example: East Valley North Star, or North Star homelink, North Star parent partnership...
